The main furniture piece is the blue sofa. Initially the kitchen was finished in calm monochrome graphite colors. I found it suitable to use one of them in curtains thus emphasizing the existing effect, but wanted to add some rhythm through geometric print; moreover, black stripes on the Nobilis fabric complement black kitchen doors.

What the client wanted

The effect provided by the color is intensified by the next window drapes. The sophisticated texture and shade take the design to another level. Combining several colors in one pattern helps to harmonize the walls and furniture.

Construction

To support the Alcantara cover of the walls we added silk cushions in DEDAR; the drapes slightly restrain colorful walls, so we used ZR black out fabric to match the headboard of the bed. Textiles are selected in natural sand colors.

Result

The net lace in ZR helps to soften the sunlight. This lightweight fabric recalls muslin made of ultra-fine trevira. It is easily draped and fills the interior with softness and elegance. Besides, it is easy to clean and is washable. The curtain holder is hidden in the ceiling recess; the electric rod is installed so the curtains can be closed by controlling the system through the phone.

Conclusions

First-class German fabrics used in window decoration are supported by French Nobilis textile in bed design. Bedspread and pillows are custom-made according to my own design. To complete the design we placed 100% Chinese silk rugs. The herringbone pattern of the rug highlights the similar design on the parquet.

The cabinet is the favorite place of the client. It also serves as a guestroom for grandchildren on weekends. For the sofa bed, we tailored the cover in ZR and decorative cushions. The wool on Roman blinds softens the shine on the wallpapers and at the same time sustains the ornament of the parquet. The Houles trimming adds some playfulness and matches sofa cushions in ZR.
